Split Pea Fritters

Ingredients

1 cup of split green peas (soaked overnight)

I small sweet yellow onion (chopped)

1 tablespoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

Salt

  1. Add all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and mix.

  2. Add oil to a wok or shallow fryer.

  3. Form the mixture into flattened balls. Lay them into the fryer to cook. Flip over to cook through.

  4. Enjoy alone or with a cooling cilantro sauce.

    For the Cilantro chutney, add a bunch of hopped cilantro, mint, chopped ginger, cumin powder, lemon, and salt in a blender.
